Investec Bank (Channel Islands) has won Private Bank of the Year, Channel Islands and Isle of Man, for the second year in a row at the Citywealth International Financial Centre Awards 2023.
Alongside the Investec win, Jane Niles collected the Silver Award for Private Banker of the Year category.
The Awards, now in their 12th year, highlight excellence in the private wealth sector in the major international financial centres, and are judged by an international panel of highly respected practitioners from all private wealth sectors covering all the jurisdictions. The winners are those judged to have excelled in achievement, innovation, expertise, and service.
Commenting on the Awards, Brendan Stewart said: “Congratulations to the whole team at Investec in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man and, of course, to Jane Niles for her outstanding achievement. It is an honour to receive both accolades, which is testimony to the hard work and dedication of our people across Guernsey, Jersey, and the Isle of Man.”
Jane Niles also commented on her win: “I’m delighted to have won Silver in the Private Banker of the Year category. This award is reflective of the stellar Lending Team at Investec Bank Channel Islands, as we’ve delivered change in the last year creating a ‘One Real Estate’ initiative, growing the offshore lending proposition, and enabling our client base access to specialist real estate expertise. It’s a privilege to work for an organisation that has an entrepreneurial spirit and puts its clients and community at the centre of its focus.”
Investec was also named Private Bank of the Year Channel Islands and Isle of Man in the 2022 Citywealth IFC Awards and won Overall Private Bank at the inaugural Wealthbriefing Channel Islands Awards last month.
