Integritas Wealth Partners were delighted to present a cheque for £2,824 to Brightly, as their Charity of the Year for 2020, surpassing their target of £2,500.
Wendy Nerac, fundraiser for Brightly, was presented with the cheque outside Integritas’ offices and said: “It has been a pleasure working in partnership with Integritas Wealth Partners over the past year. The funds will be used to support children and young people aged between new-born – 25 years, who have experience of the care system or are in need. Our aim is to help these youngsters to make an independent and fruitful life for themselves by providing financial support, material help and services.
“This could be anything from helping a care leaver with the cost of college courses, work clothes, tools, medical fees or items for when they move into their first home (which is very exciting, but a big and expensive step). Memberships for the zoo and other attractions (to give the opportunity for quality family time) or covering the cost of nursery fees for the children of care leavers”.
Edward Loader, Managing Director of Integritas added: “We’re really proud of our achievements in supporting the community, and one aspect is our involvement with local charities. In a difficult year for lots of charities we were looking forward to volunteering at events and being very active with Brightly – such a great charity. Unfortunately this year’s events prohibited us from doing so, but we got inventive and set ourselves a few challenges through the year, and the whole team were generous through our regular give as you earn donations”.
