Experts from across the digital industry will be helping local companies focus on reducing the risks of data breach at the Logicalis CI Cyber Security event being held on 20 March 2019 at the Royal Yacht Hotel.
The one-day event is focused on robust strategies for dealing with cyber security and potential breaches and will offer presentations and a chance to network with industry specialists and other local professionals. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from a range of experts and industry insiders on how to respond quickly and with confidence to what can be a complex challenge.
The companies which will be represented at the conference are Cisco, KnowBe4, Thycotic, McAfee, Sophos and Bromium. As well as delivering presentations which will help the audience gain knowledge and insight into the issues posed by a potential breach, the companies will each have an exhibition stand which will provide information about their products and services.
Logicalis CI’s Managed Security Services Director,Ricky Magalhaes, will be opening the conference and said that the conference was suitable for businesses of all sizes and particularly staff in compliance and IT roles who wanted to increase their understanding of how organisations can protect themselves.
“The key words for us at this conference are defend, detect and respond and, as ever, the first step in reducing risk is to arm yourself with the right knowledge. The potential for a data breach is a very real problem for all businesses, every day and we’d like all our guests to walk away from the day ideas which can help inform their strategy for dealing with cyber threats.
“We are delighted with the calibre of the global companies and their representatives that we have attracted for the event and hope that local businesses will join us and take full advantage of the expertise that will be on offer on the day.”
The reducing the risk of data breach event begins at 8 am and finishes at 3 pm and registration details are available on Eventbrite.
