Indulge, a financial services-focused digital agency based in Guernsey and Oxford, has been selected as a finalist in the Best Use of Search in Finance category of the prestigious European Search Awards.
The agency has been recognised for its creative approach to using audience research to decode the notoriously complex Swiss tax system.
The campaign resulted in Taxolution Advisory, a Switzerland-based advisory firm aiming to provide clear guidance on the country’s taxation system, achieving a 15% growth in revenue in its first year and 55% growth the following year.
Indulge used tools such as SEMrush, Google Search and SEOmonitor to conduct detailed audience research, establishing what information the target audience was looking for online and what competitors were overlooking in their content. This knowledge was then used in conjunction with client-side experts to compile an extensive resource library which is now live on Taxolution Advisory’s website.
Indulge used a less conventional tactic to maximise the impact of its campaign – engineering out the personal opinions of the agency or client teams. Content was instead based purely on audience research, manufacturing unbiased and accurate communication.
Indulge Director Paul Wood said: “Our greatest achievement from this campaign was the genuine business growth that resulted from it. Taxolution Advisory was able to reach a more relevant audience which has significantly contributed to its overall success, both in revenue and in service.
“Being selected as a finalist in the European Search Awards is testament to our hard work and our team’s impressive ability to be innovative in our campaigns. This is a level of excellence that takes a very deliberate and dedicated effort to achieve, and we are extremely proud to have reached this point, particularly as a home-grown local agency.”
Taxolution Advisory CEO Ron Rosenwasser said: “The resource library created by Indulge has not only made it far easier for our clients to understand the Swiss tax system but has directly contributed to the significant growth of our business.
“The work that the Indulge team do is second-to-none, and I am very grateful for and impressed by their innovative approach to this particular campaign.”
