HSBC has appointed Christine Yew as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
Christine (pictured) will take on additional responsibilities for operations and services across the entire Bank in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man, whilst maintaining her existing role as Chief Operating Officer for Wealth and Personal Banking across the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, and Europe.
Christine has eight years of experience with HSBC and has developed her broad range of knowledge and expertise across various global, regional and country roles, including Head of Cost Management UK & Europe, Europe Regional Lead for International Markets and Head of Business Management for EMEA.
Prior to joining HSBC, Christine’s previous roles included working at a number of multinational banks across both Europe and the US where she developed her knowledge and expertise regarding transformation, product, strategy, and planning. She is passionate about diversity and inclusion and talent development, having previously launched a talent programme for HSBC in Europe.
