Have you had time yet to visit the newly relocated Harbour Gallery in St Helier?
The Gallery relocated from St Aubin to 19 The Quay, Commercial Buildings, St Helier and is open seven days a week 9.30am – 5.30pm.
The new Gallery has received a lot of praise, but it opened four months later than planned, through no fault of the Gallery or their supportive landlord. Quotes for the necessary building conversion and decoration were gathered in summer 2022, but the delays meant that the work and materials nearly doubled in price by the time the work was done.
As a result of the delays, the Gallery was left with no income from 24th December 2022 until 25th April 2023.
The Harbour Gallery is not only an exhibiting gallery but a place of education working with people from 5 to 85+ years of age. It also works with and supports other charities including Acorn, Mencap and Brighter Futures. There is a very diverse and extensive programme of exhibitions, workshops, classes and events, but support is needed to get the Gallery through this year to enable it to pay their extra expenses due to the delay.

The Gallery is running a 100 Club from June to December. It is £10 a month, so £70 in total and can be paid monthly by BACS, by card at the Gallery, cheque to Art in the Frame Foundation or cash.
