HLG associates, a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy that supports clients across Jersey, Guernsey, and the United Kingdom, are continuing their sponsorship of the Maufant Youth Project summer programme for the third year running.
The Maufant Youth Project exists to support the development of youth work opportunities for young people, promote their personal and social development and enable them to have a voice which is heard in their local parish and in the island of Jersey.
On the summer programme, the Juniors and Inters will attend a two-night residential camp at Crabbe with the opportunity to experience Archery Tag and Bowling amongst other events.
The Seniors will benefit from a camp at the Scout Hut in St Ouens bay where they will follow a program of water based activities.
HLG Associates, has long association with the Parish of St Martin having lead the redevelopment of La Vielles Ecole and other parish projects in recent years.
Commenting on the support of the summer programme, Jerry Willis, Managing Director, said: “We are extremely proud continuing our support of the Maufant Youth Project Summer Programme, helping the Jersey Youth Service to provide opportunities, fun and adventure for young people in the island.
