Kerrie Le Tissier, Private Wealth Client Director at Highvern in Guernsey, has been highlighted in the Citywealth Powerwomen Awards 2023, winning bronze in the ‘Woman of the Year – Guernsey’ category.
Announced in the lead up to International Women’s Day, the Awards champion women in the wealth sector, recognise and celebrate female leaders who have a positive social influence on the sector, and spotlight individuals and companies who support female leadership and diversity.
As one of just eight Guernsey professionals shortlisted for the award, Kerrie (pictured) faced a public vote and a judging panel consisting of 10 esteemed female industry leaders.
Kerrie channels her extensive industry experience, knowledge, and technical skills across the legal and financial services sectors into her client work, helping to establish and administer robust structures. She is part of the senior team at Highvern working to drive the development of its pan-island Private Wealth department. Kerrie has held a number of senior positions at leading offshore law firms and more recently heading up her own boutique legal practice specialising in legal services for fiduciaries and private clients.
In addition to her work for the group, Kerrie sits on the Guernsey Association of Trustees’ Executive Committee and leads the association’s Technical Committee, regularly contributing to industry consultations on changes to legislation and regulation affecting Guernsey’s fiduciary sector.
Naomi Rive, Group Head of Private Wealth, said: “We’re very proud of Kerrie’s recognition in the Powerwomen Awards and pleased to see her leadership and contribution to the industry being recognised externally. She is a wonderful role model for the next generation and exemplifies the positive impact of having strong female leaders within our profession.”
