Hawksford has strengthened its senior team with the promotion of four key team members to the role of director.
These promotions include Laura Nevitt as a Director of the Private Client Division, Cherith Fothergill as director and Global Head of Business Development & Marketing, Melody Tan as Finance Director and Bobby Stirling as Director and Global Head of Client Accounting.
These senior promotions form part of a wave of 67 additional promotions across Hawksford’s international offices.
Hawksford’s Chief Executive, Michel van Leeuwen, said: “I’m delighted to see so many well-deserved promotions across our business, including four pivotal promotions to the role of director. This demonstrates the calibre of our team around the world, our year-on-year performance and growth, and our continued investment into those who genuinely make our business successful. We truly believe in developing our team, which ensures we always deliver the highest standards of client service. I would like to wish all those promoted good luck in their new roles and continued success.”
Laura provides asset protection, succession and Family Office solutions to UHNW individuals in the UK, South Africa and the Middle East. Her professionalism, expertise and consistency of client service has seen her featured in eprivateclient’s ‘Top 35 under 35’ list twice. In her new role Laura will further promote and develop Hawksford’s Family Office capabilities and oversee its philanthropy proposition and portfolio.
Building on her significant contribution to Hawksford’s international brand presence and year-on-year new business growth, and a secondment to Hawksford’s Asia offices in 2018-19, Cherith Fothergill will provide strategic leadership and oversight of all business and marketing activity as Global Head of Business Development and Marketing.
Melody Tan has been promoted to Finance Director. She has more than 19 years of experience in advisory and operational roles. Her new role will see her bring additional efficiencies to our Singapore operations whilst providing financial oversight for the Singapore office.
Newly promoted Global Head of Accounting, Bobby Stirling, will provide leadership over the group’s accounting services in order to further develop creative and pragmatic solutions for a wide range of Hawksford’s institutional, entrepreneurial and (ultra) high net worth clients. Bobby also serves as a Director of Hawksford’s Fund Services business providing over 15 years of industry experience to our Fund clients.
