Global service provider Hawksford has made 89 promotions across its multijurisdictional network of offices and service lines, as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting career progression and to support its long-term growth strategy.
In line with Hawksford’s approach to recognising and rewarding employees for their contribution to the business, the promotions announced this month have been made over the course of the past year, with a number at senior level.
In particular, Hawksford has promoted four new directors within the business. Ruari Allan (Corporate) and Jon Taylor (Funds) have both been promoted to client-facing directors in Jersey and will play a key role in driving the growth of their respective services lines. Sue McMonagle (also in Jersey) was promoted to People Director in November 2023 and has seen her role broadened to cover Hawksford’s core HR operations globally, with an immediate focus on its Asia and UAE offices. Kishan Gahunia (Singapore) has been promoted to Director in Hawksford’s Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) and Legal team.
All 89 promotions across the group were all made in recognition of employees’ commitment to professional development and their contribution to the business.
Meanwhile, in addition to these promotions, Dan Mardell (Jersey) has had his role of Global Operations Director broadened to that of Chief Technology Officer.
Richard Summerfield, Chief People Officer at Hawksford, said: “We recognise that our people are central to driving forward our global growth strategy and for that reason we remain focused on rewarding achievement, recognising professional development and nurturing talent – empowering our people to reach their full potential.
“We have a flexible approach to recognition and career progression, meaning several individuals have been in their new roles for some time, as opposed to waiting for the ‘annual promotion round’ in line with year-end or financial results. I’m delighted to be able to celebrate the success of our people over the past twelve months, across all our service lines and locations. Every one of them thoroughly deserves this recognition and I’m excited to see them all continue to develop and play a role in Hawksford’s success.”
