The UK Property Awards 2019-2020 ceremony in London on 25 October saw local property developer Comprop pick up two awards for its Havelet Waters development in Guernsey, as well as a UK Regional Nomination in the Architecture Multiple Residence category.
The residential development, which was completed in 2018, received Five Star awards in both the Residential Development and Architecture Multiple Residence category for Guernsey.
As the UK branch of the International Property Awards, these top accolades recognise the highest professional standards across the globe and have been running for 26 years.
With esteemed independent judging panels for each award, they are highly sought after within the industry and represent the highest levels of achievement in residential and commercial property development. Judged on design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and commitment to sustainability, the awards are a world-renowned mark of excellence.
Steve Marie, Managing Director of Comprop was delighted that Havelet Waters won two awards and a UK nomination of this nature, and further commended the high quality design and build of the apartments:
“Projects of this nature involve many people and businesses, from planners and consultants at inception through to our contractors and designers who have worked side by side to achieve superb results – these awards are testament to all their valued input for which we thank them.”
The Architecture Multiple Residence award focused on the design and construction details of Havelet Waters, commending the integration of the development with the traditional townscape and fabric of St Peter Port, this being a key consideration when maintaining and restoring the character of the former brewery that stood on site.
The Residential Development award recognised Comprop’s success in creating high-specification luxury apartments and living spaces that maximize natural light and compliment the beauty of the location, as well as enabling sustainable living and the utmost quality of life.
