Guernsey Post has been award ‘gold’ status by the Investors in People scheme for an eighth successive year.
It was praised as a high-performing organisation by IIP specialist and assessor Roger Bradshaw.
He said: “The business through its leadership has positioned itself with an ambition to lead innovation in the sector. The organisation leads not follows, enabling the creation of sustainable success. People throughout the organisation demonstrate high levels of engagement.”
“Guernsey Post has been accredited under the Investors in People framework since 2009 and have had the Gold standard since 2012 it is great to see it continuing to grow and develop, and it is a true testament to the commitment of the team.”
Boley Smillie, chief executive of Guernsey Post, said: “We are really pleased to have maintained our Investors in People Gold status, particularly as the standards for doing so have increased. This really is a reflection of the commitment and hard work of all of our staff.”
In Guernsey, the GTA University Centre supports organisations achieve the Investors in People award, which is the international standard for people management.
