Rosie Allsopp, Guernsey Finance Communications Director, has been named the Woman of the Year for Government, regulatory and not-for-profit organisations at the 2023 Citywealth Powerwomen Awards.
The gold award recognises Rosie’s outstanding achievements in her role at Guernsey Finance and her wider influence in the island’s financial services sector. Guernsey Finance is a joint industry and government initiative established to promote Guernsey’s financial services industry into its chosen strategic markets.
Rosie joined Guernsey Finance as Communications Manager in February 2021 and quickly began the rollout of the organisation’s new communications strategy whilst assuming expanded internal responsibilities.
Rosie has also mentored other women in the organisation, championing their career progression and leads by example with an inclusive and supportive management style.
In its twelfth year, the Citywealth Powerwomen Awards champion female leaders of today and tomorrow. The awards ceremony, held on 1st March in London, recognises female professionals in the wealth management industry who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in their field.
