Victoria Park has named the Guernsey Alzheimer’s Association as its first ever chosen charity partner.
The partnership will see Guernsey’s new home of football supporting the charity with various fundraising and brand awareness initiatives throughout the 2025/2026 football season.
Established in 2009, the Guernsey Alzheimer’s Association provides a vital lifeline to islanders affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia. Working in partnership with Health and Social Care, the charity provides invaluable information, advice, companionship and support for carers and ex-carers of loved ones impacted by the disease.
The new year-long partnership kicked off at weekend when volunteers from the charity attended Muratti Day on Saturday, 17th May to raise awareness of the charity’s work. Proceeds from 50/50 ticket sales and other public donations generated a staggering £4,200 for the charity.
The collaboration underpins Victoria Park’s commitment to supporting local charities and the wider community by providing an inclusive and welcoming hub with football at its heart.
