The GO Charity shop is holding its first-ever auction this Saturday.
Since the move to larger premises staff at the GO Charity Shop have been busy re-organising and taking in new stock and have set aside 200 items to be sold to the highest bidders.
GO’s General Manager Chris Murphy said “We’ve got together a huge range of lots. It includes some choice pieces that we kept to one side and some real bargains in furniture, outdoor gear, tools and bric-a-brac.” Michael Bougourd, Manager at GO added “We’re hoping that the auction will help us raise some much-needed funds and be a good way for us to free up space for some more stock.”
The auction is on Saturday 24th July at 10.00am with viewings 10 – 4pm on Thursday 22 nd and Friday 23rd. Bidders can place their bids beforehand or go along on the day.
Money raised by GO is used to train some of Guernsey’s young people for work by building their confidence and increasing their social and teamwork skills.
