Hawksford has appointed a financial services and wealth management specialist with over 30 years’ experience working across Europe, the Caribbean and Asia.
Brian Balleine joins as Director, Private Client Services where he will focus on developing relationships with intermediaries globally as part of Hawksford’s continued growth and expansion strategy. His role is based in Jersey where Hawksford is headquartered.
Most recently Brian was Regional Head of Butterfield’s trust business in Asia where he was based in Singapore. Prior to this he was Managing Director of Butterfield’s trust business in Cayman. He has also held senior roles with Barclays Wealth, Rothschild Trust and Bank of Ireland.
Darren Kelland, Global Head of Private Client Services at Hawksford, said: “Brian has an extensive financial services network across the globe having held senior leadership roles in Asia, the Caribbean and Europe. We are excited that someone with such vast experience and pedigree as Brian has decided to join Hawksford”.
Brian holds a Master of Business Administration degree, is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
