Following on their recent success at being featured on James Martin’s national cookery show, Guernsey’s Juggling King Rum Company is pleased to announce Michael Owen as their Global Brand Ambassador.
Michael Owen is a former English footballer who played as a striker for Liverpool, Real Madrid, Newcastle United, Manchester United and Stoke City, as well as for the England national team.

Michael said: “I am delighted to be The Juggling King Rum Company’s Global Brand Ambassador. I look forward to our UK wide distribution journey, after which we intend to rapidly introduce The Juggling King’s Rum’s to the European market and around the globe.”
Michael has joined The Juggling King Rum Company as part of the business’ launch into the UK and will begin to work alongside team to promote Guernsey’s first ‘Seed-to-bottle’ rum.
Since retiring as a player in 2013, he’s been working as a pundit and co-commentator with BT and PLP productions – The Premier League’s international television partner. Michael is also committed to mentoring young players through their careers alongside other commercial obligations including his role as International Ambassador for Bet Victor and Liverpool FC.
Away from football, Michael has combined his passion for horse racing with business to set up and oversee the growth of Manor House Stables into a state of the art race-horse training facility with over 90 horses in training.
Michael intends to visit Guernsey as part of his role as regularly as the pandemic allows.
