GMK Construction is encouraging us all to get in the Halloween spirit this month, with a spooky competition to celebrate the season within our homes. Jersey’s premier construction company will be inviting people to submit a photo of their carved pumpkins in a home environment, in a bid to share some festive fun over its social media channels.
The competition not only asks participants to carve their own creative pumpkin, but to photograph them in different settings around the home. Perhaps your pumpkin can greet visitors at the doorstep or be used as night lights in children’s bedrooms? Maybe now more people are working from home, we’ll see corporate mascots taking pride of place on home office desks?
Greg Kelly, Chief Executive of GMK, said: “We love bringing peoples’ dream homes to life with our renovation and construction projects, but nothing quite beats seeing them enjoy living in these afterwards. It’s the part we don’t often get to see so we wanted to run a competition that would encourage people to fall in love with their homes and really use the Halloween season to bring home spaces to life.
“Since families can no longer go out treat or tricking this year, this is a fun and safe activity that you can all do from the comfort of your home.”
The social media competition is inviting photo submissions now and will name its two winning entries on 1st November who will each receive a box of spooky cupcakes as a prize. For further details on entry please visit GMK’s Facebook page.
