Nadia Hannis, has joined Beckfords as a Funeral Planning and Memorials Coordinator.
Nadia has a background in Health and Social Care and having worked in both Residential care and Extra Care Housing she has all of the qualities that are so important in this role; she is caring, compassionate, efficient and genuinely interested in helping people.
Jane Duquemin, Beckfords Non-Executive Director said of the appointment. “We have always been and will always be a family-oriented business and Nadia is already very much part of the Beckfords family, not least because she is married to Zac, our General Manager!
“Nadia is part of the next generation that will be instrumental in ensuring that Beckfords continues to maintain its excellent level of service, founded on respect, care and professionalism.”
Nadia will be on hand to guide people planning ahead for their own funeral, but her main focus is to assist the bereaved organise headstones, cremation memorials and keepsakes. Explaining why this is important Nadia says: “There is such a huge range of options to choose from and as each of the local cemeteries has different requirements, it can be quite daunting for the bereaved. Memorials are permanent reminders of loved ones through the ages so it’s absolutely essential that people get it right, and that’s what I am here to help with.”
