Deloitte has made four recent promotions across the Channel Islands, with two in Jersey and two in Guernsey.
In Jersey, Marc Cleeve and Nic James have been promoted to Partner and Director respectively and in Guernsey, Adam Hart and Bradley Choules have both been promoted to the position of Director.
Their promotions come as the firm announces that its Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Gibraltar offices are joining forces to create a single audit and advisory offering across the four offshore jurisdictions.
Marc leads Deloitte’s Debt Fund Services team, which delivers integrated services to debt funds clients across audit, tax and advisory.
Alongside his new role, Marc will also lead Deloitte’s strategy across the Channel Islands as ‘People and Purpose Partner’, whilst strengthening his portfolio of debt, venture capital and banking clients.
Nic James will lead Deloitte Jersey’s private equity offering. As a private equity specialist, Nic’s role will include identifying and advising on the latest trends and developments in the market and bringing these insights to his clients.
Alongside his new role, Nic will head up Deloitte’s internal finance team across the Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Gibraltar offices and lead the Non-Executive Director/Chief Financial Officer Clubs in Jersey.
Partner Theo Brennand said: “Marc and Nic give Deloitte’s clients the best local knowledge and industry-leading experience and sector expertise. Their promotions are well deserved, and we are delighted to work alongside them to develop Deloitte’s capabilities in the Channel Islands.”
Adam Hart specialises in the investment management sector, providing UK tax reporting services to offshore funds, and a broad range of advisory work to funds and managers across all fund types and asset classes. In his new role, Adam will continue building Deloitte’s tax presence in the Channel Islands’ market, working as an integral part of the UK investment management tax practice, bringing innovative technology solutions to clients and keeping at the forefront of legislative change.
Bradley Choules (shown in the main picture) works exclusively in the audit of global investment management and private equity clients as well as leading several assurance projects with private equity clients, supporting them with launching new private equity funds.
In his new role as Director, Bradley will lead the audit and assurance offering in private equity in the Channel Islands. He will also support the overall leadership of the Guernsey office and will take a wider role in the management of the Deloitte pan-island business.
Partner in Guernsey, Jo Huxtable, said: “I am thrilled to announce these promotions for two people who started their careers with Deloitte in Guernsey and have built up strong networks within Deloitte UK. They have become well known in the market for their respective areas of expertise whilst being integral to the training and development of our Channel Islands teams.”
