Fort has appointed Joe Woodward as its new Director of Trust and Corporate Services, subject to regulatory approval.
Based in Guernsey, Joe (pictured) will help lead the private wealth business conducted across the organisation’s Guernsey and Alderney offices.
He will play a key role in expanding Fort’s private wealth business, building client relationships and growing the team across the islands.
CEO of Fort, Graham McCormack, said: “Putting clients first and providing exceptional service levels have been a priority at Fort for the past 50 years – something Joe has also dedicated himself to throughout his career.
“Joe’s fresh ideas, energy and experience will play a pivotal role in the formulation and delivery of our ambitious growth strategy. We’re looking forward to supporting Joe to lead us into this exciting new chapter.”
Joe brings nearly two decades of private wealth experience to the role having held senior management positions in both Guernsey and Mauritius, managing structures for high net-worth private clients.
Joe added: “As one of Guernsey’s few remaining independent trust and corporate service providers, I am really looking forward to building on Fort’s fantastic foundations, working towards common goals and making a genuine contribution to the business’ growth strategy.
“What I love most about my job is dealing with people, whether it be helping clients or developing staff – I am so excited to join a team that shares those same passions and help to fulfil untapped potential I can sense at Fort.”
