Independent trust and corporate services company, Fort, has appointed Iain Beresford as Business Growth consultant.
In his new role, Iain (pictured) will focus on growth strategies and transforming client experience across the business. He will work internally with the senior leadership team to develop key strategies to bolster growth across the UK and further afield.
With a background in business advisory and client services, Iain’s role will also focus on client development and customer experience.
On his new role, Iain said: “I’m impressed with the direction that Fort is heading in as a business. It is exactly the kind of organisation I value being a part of. It’s an ambitious, growing business with a desire to make a difference in the market as both a client service business and an employer.
“It’s an exciting time for growth at Fort as it’s a clean sheet for transformation, but with a business that has a 50-year history of stability and reliability.
“I look forward to being a part of the Fort journey.”
Iain has a MSc in Corporate Governance from Bournemouth University and in his career has gained more than 30 years of experience in business advisory, customer experience and marketing.
He is currently the Vice-chair of the IoD, a Chartered Governance Professional and a Non-Executive director of a number of well-known Guernsey businesses.
Graham McCormack, CEO at Fort, said: “At Fort, we prioritise an exceptional customer journey and Iain brings a wealth of experience to our offering in this area.
“His depth of knowledge in building a great brand is invaluable as we enter this period of strong growth. His skills will support the business from a financial, operational and strategic perspective and we look forward to welcoming him to the team.”
