Passive Fire Protection specialists, Firesafe have announced the appointment of Pierre Lainé as Contracts Manager.
Pierre (pictured) brings with him an extensive background in fire safety management. His career in fire safety began in 1997 when he joined the Guernsey Fire & Rescue Service. Over 22 years he undertook several roles, including Firefighter, Crew Commander, Head of Fire Safety, and Head of Operations. Notably, he led critical fire safety initiatives for the Island involving the safety of both the community and construction projects.
Following the GFRS Pierre held the role of Manager of Waste & Environment Monitoring for States Works. In this capacity, he oversaw the Environmental Monitoring Team, managing operations across diverse sites with a keen eye on sustainability and regulatory compliance.
More recently Pierre joined States Health & Social Care as Fire Safety Technical Advisor, further enhancing his understanding of regulatory frameworks and operational requirements in fire safety.
