Jersey-based fintech research and development company, Warm, has become an accredited and operational SAP partner, one of only three official partners in the Channel Islands.
This accreditation will open up opportunities for the firm to expand its client base and project size throughout financial services across Jersey and the UK.
Following this accreditation, Warm plans to launch a demand generation campaign for SAP-based products across the Channel Islands.
SAP (Systems Applications and Products in data processing) is enterprise application software and allows companies of all sizes to expand by improving enterprise resource planning with an end-to-end suite of applications and services that enables firms to operate profitably, adapt continuously, and grow worldwide.
Warm Group CEO, Jensen Nixon (pictured), said: “SAP accreditation has major global significance in business technology. This accreditation is great news not only for WARM and our partners, but also for the Channel Islands as it means we can grow the skills of people based here.
“As a business, we are now perfectly placed to take on large technology projects. We will also be bringing our skills and solutions to the UK market where our sister company OPAL has several major clients, including HSBC Life, using their Pandora platform for administrating Protection and Structured Products propositions.”
This news brings other benefits to the island, with Warm being able to bridge the SAP skills gap in the Channel Islands by upskilling and supporting graduates and individuals in becoming SAP-Certified.
By building up a local team of SAP-certified specialists, Warm will provide a sustainable resource on the island for improving areas such as implementation, hypercare and helpdesk services, creating a more versatile and efficient service.
