Embrace the magic of Christmas this year with a very special Afternoon Tea bursting with festive flavours and Bublé-style ballads from a special live guest at L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa.
The hotel in St Brelade is hosting this on Saturday 12th December from 2.30pm until 4.30pm. Delicate finger sandwiches and a festive-themed savoury selection will be served alongside flavours of gingerbread and not forgetting chocolate with a sumptuous spread of seasonally inspired cakes.
This festively spiced alternative to the traditional afternoon tea menu includes cinnamon, ginger and orange scones served with clotted cream, whiskey lemon curd and homemade pear jam. International vocalist Michael Hutchings has a Bublé-style Christmas inspired musical surprise in store for guests as they toast the afternoon with a glass of Champagne or mulled wine to finish off the afternoon’s festivities.
Commenting on the menu, Executive Head Chef Andrew Soddy said: “Our team have created an afternoon tea full of the delicious flavours of Christmas. ‘Tis the season to eat, drink and be merry after all and although we’ve all seen lots of events cancelled this year, we definitely won’t be cancelling Christmas at L’Horizon!”
