Ferbrache & Farrell LLP has continued its support of Citizens Advice Guernsey (CAG) by assisting with the provision of pro-bono legal advice.
The firm was mentioned for its ‘Help in Kind’ in CAG’s annual report issued in May 2022 and is pleased to continue to assist the charity in this way.
Advocate Alison Antill provides regular assistance as an Honorary Legal Advisor giving pro-bono legal advice. This can cover a range of legal issues, from family law and inheritance disputes to consumer law and property issues. Advice is provided through CAG free of charge to those who might otherwise be unable to access legal assistance.
Kerry Ciotti, CEO of Citizens Advice said: “CAG is extremely grateful to be able to have this support available for our clients. Access to diagnostic legal advice makes an enormous amount of difference to some of our clients who would otherwise be unable to get the support they need.”
Alison (pictured) said: ‘”AG does incredible work and is an amazing resource for our local community. As well as the valuable advice and support given by its volunteers to clients, they also research and campaign for important changes needed in Guernsey such as the introduction of Lasting Powers of Attorney. It is a pleasure to work with CAG and continue to provide help to those who need it.”
