Red was the colour for EY across the Channel Islands, as they raised £1,290 in aid of Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day.
Both EY’s Guernsey and Jersey offices got into the spirit of Red Nose Day last week through various fundraising activities, including cake sales and raffles, as well as their people wearing red to show their support. All the money raised is being donated to Comic Relief to support their mission of ending poverty in the UK and around the world.
Andrew Dann, Managing Partner at EY in the Channel Islands, said: “I am proud to see our people come together to raise money and support such an important and worthwhile cause. In the UK, EY has supported Comic Relief since 1999 as their honorary accountants, so it is great to see our Channel Islands offices come together to show our support locally.
“The work Comic Relief does change the lives of so many across the world and helps to create a better, more equal world for everyone. With so much disruption and uncertainty currently in the world, as well as the ongoing impact of COVID-19, the work Comic Relief does to support people break free from poverty, violence and discrimination has never been so vital.”
