EY has strengthened their Channel Islands leadership team with the promotion of three Assurance Directors.
Christian Robinson and Nicoline Armatas have progressed to Assurance Directors in Jersey, and Njoki Muiruri will be joining the leadership team in Guernsey as an Assurance Director.
Christian has extensive experience working with clients in Banking and Wealth & Asset Management in the UK, Jersey and internationally. As a member of EY’s Extended Assurance team in the Channel Islands, Christian works closely with clients to assess the risks associated with current and future regulations and supports them in enhancing processes and controls to maintain compliance and improve business operations.
Nicoline began her career in South Africa, before moving to Jersey, where she has amassed a wealth of experience within Wealth & Asset Management. Specialising in alternative asset structures, she supports diverse clients, from global cross-jurisdictional entities to boutique funds, providing local insight with a global perspective. Nicoline is passionate about coaching and mentoring and delivers regular training and industry best practice sessions. She was also a facilitator at the recent EY Power Up female leadership event in Jersey, which showcased her commitment to fostering talent and promoting diversity by empowering women to showcase their skills to advance their careers and champion greater gender equality.
Njoki has over a decade of experience providing audit services to clients across multiple jurisdictions, having worked in London, New York and Kenya, before joining EY’s Guernsey office in 2017. She specialises in auditing clients within the Banking industry, particularly Retail, Private and Commercial Banking as well as Wealth and Asset Management, with a focus on private equity clients. Njoki is also a Digital Audit Champion and helps to drive the agenda of implementing more digital tools to provide new insights to clients as part of the audit. She has also been involved in facilitating training internally to improve the quality of audits as part of risk management.
Dan Saunders, EY’s Channel Islands Managing Partner, said: “I would like to congratulate Christian, Nicoline and Njoki on all their hard work and commitment in reaching this significant milestone in their careers. Their insights and experience will be invaluable to supporting our clients and our continued growth in the Channel Islands.”
