EY has announced their latest promotions across all service lines in the Channel Islands.
Leo Boessenkool has been promoted to Technology Risk Director and Matt Ryan to Technical Director, while Phil Irvine and Christian Robinson have been promoted to Tax Manager and Assurance Manager, respectively.
These promotions reflect EY’s continued growth in the Channel Islands and investment in its people, as well as the individual’s high performance and commitment to exceptional client service.

Leo leads the Channel Islands Technology Risk team and is at the forefront of driving EY’s innovation and digital agenda across the Channel Islands. He focuses on providing intelligent automation, IT audit support and data analytics for audit clients.
Matt has significant experience with both International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and UK Accounting Standards (UK GAAP). He is an integral part of the Channel Islands Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team, providing clients with accounting support on conversions between different accounting frameworks, implementation of new accounting standards and associated disclosures. In addition, he is part of the UK Financial Reporting Group (FRG), responsible for a number of technical reviews of listed companies annual reports primarily for compliance with accounting standards.
Phil joined EY in September 2013 and re-joined in November 2017 following a period working at a Jersey trust company. He has a wealth of experience providing a wide range of personal and corporate tax compliance, advisory and regulatory services across multiple jurisdictions.
Christian joined EY in 2011 through the EY Degree programme and moved to Jersey in 2017, during which time he has gained a wealth of experience within the banking industry. As well as banking, he focuses on regulatory reporting and compliance projects as part of the Channel Islands Advisory team.
