EY has announced their latest management promotions across the Channel Islands.
Thomas Harris and Rochelle Lagrisola have been promoted to Assurance Manager in Guernsey, while Gerrit Heyneke and Callum Rabet have been promoted to Manager within the Assurance team in Jersey.
Andrew Dann, EY’s Channel Islands Managing Partner, says: “Congratulations to Tom, Rochelle, Gerrit and Callum on their promotions to manager. This is a significant career milestone and a reflection of their dedication to delivering exceptional client service and high performance. Their technical expertise and insights, along with excellent people management skills will be a great addition to our management teams.”
Thomas is experienced in providing assurance services to clients across private banking, wealth management and captive insurance. He is well-versed with local financial services industry regulations. He has continued his formal professional development after qualifying as Chartered Accountant and pursued his interest in financial data, which has seen him complete the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) level 1 exam. Thomas frequently leads training sessions for more junior team members on the latest standards and local regulations.
In his new role, Thomas will continue to assist more junior members of EY’s team in their learning and development. He is also looking forward to the challenge of further assisting clients in adapting to changes in the regulatory landscape and getting involved in business development opportunities in the islands.
Rochelle (shown in the main picture) works predominantly with wealth & asset management clients and also has experience in banking and captive insurance. She joined the Guernsey office in 2018, having completed a three-month secondment in the Channel Islands the year before. In her new role, Rochelle will continue to deliver audits and support clients with emerging challenges, including cyber security and ESG reporting requirements.
Gerrit joined EY after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa. He has extensive experience providing audit services, working predominantly with real estate and private equity fund clients. In his new role, he will be involved with coaching and mentoring through EY’s counsellor programme to support more junior members of the team in developing skills to progress in their careers.
Callum has significant experience in providing audit services to clients within the wealth & asset management industry. He has a detailed knowledge of accounting standards, local regulatory and statutory requirements for financial statements. In his new role, Callum is looking forward to being more involved with growing EY’s business locally through targeted business development initiatives.
