Women’s mental health through the ages in Western Societies

This is a free Lunch & Learn event provided by Mind Jersey. It will run for 1 hour.

A fascinating perspective highlighting the changes in how women’s mental health has been viewed over time helping us understand the roots of stigma, recognise progress, and identify ongoing challenges that still need to be addressed. Join us to discuss how a retrospective overview can help to reveal how cultural biases have shaped treatment and compassion.

Join us as we explore some of the challenges in women’s mental health today which are alleviated and exacerbated by modern communication. We will focus on the impact of today’s access to information, through social media, internet and AI tools and look through the lens of the past to highlight new perspectives.
