Winter’s Tales
Set within The Harbour Gallery, Winter’s Tales is an entertaining performance showcase featuring a range of local writers.
Readings feature Channel Island folklore, short stories, novel extracts and poems – all with a wintry theme!
Performers include Tessa Barrie, Dreena Collins, Gwyn Garfield Bennett, Sandra Noel, Sharon Champion, and Paul Darroch, and attendees will also be entertained on arrival by our minstrel, Colin Lever.
Books will be on sale before performances and during the break.
Pat Robson, Director and Co-founder of The Harbour Gallery Jersey, said: “We’re proud to be the biggest on-island retailer of local books, and delighted to be hosting Winter’s Tales to celebrate our talented writers. We hope this event will bring these stories and poems to a whole new audience! Enjoy seasonal refreshments whilst listening to our inspirational storytellers.”
Dreena Collins, local author and event organiser, said: “Jersey is packed with literary talent. Bringing together such a diverse mix of writers showcases that perfectly. Guests can sit back and enjoy readings in a relaxed, welcoming environment, and with a varied programme, there’s sure to be something for everyone.”
