What can the Channel Islands’ Covid-19 response teach us about information security?
The CIISF, in conjunction with the Jersey Data Protection Association (JDPA), would like to invite you to a round table discussion “What can the Channel Islands’ Covid -19 response teach us about Information Security” at 17:15 on Thursday, 28th April 2022 at Digital Jersey. There will be light refreshments and the opportunity to network.
Physical attendance places are limited but you can attend online.
This event will involve a facilitated discussion, led by David Carney (Chairman of the JDPA and Committee Member of the CIISF) around what lessons can the information security community take away from how the Channel Islands responded to the Coronavirus pandemic. The discussion will endeavour to explore a number of questions, including the following:
- Responding to an emerging threat
- How can other crisis management models can be applied to information security?
- What more can the Information Security community and government do to ensure organisations are better prepared?
Once again, we hope the discussion will give our information security community an opportunity to share experiences and ideas from which we aim to collate salient points that will help facilitate further conversations with relevant stakeholders.
You can either attend virtually or physically – physical tickets are limited in number so please ensure you sign up.
