Unveiling the Power of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower: Empowering Jersey Businesses
The Government of Jersey have organised a Free training webinar to support business in training their employees around hidden disabilities. This is an hour long, free online training sessions and will cover:
- What is an invisible disability?
- What is the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower?
- What should I do?
The webinar is being run to support the islands Sunflower Friendly Day on the 22nd and 23rd of September, when events in the town centre and social media will be used to raise public awareness of hidden disabilities.
Businesses participating in the webinars can choose to purchase a sunflower window sticker for £2.50 each to show their place of business have completed the training. Business can also opt to join the Hidden Disabilities charity for £50 a year to obtain more training and marketing resources.
