The Rest is Business: Chamber Gala Dinner 2025
Guernsey Chamber of Commerce has revealed the headline speaker for this year’s Gala Dinner – award-winning broadcaster, entrepreneur, and podcast host Steph McGovern.
Best known for co-hosting The Rest Is Money with Robert Peston and her years fronting business news on BBC Breakfast, Steph brings a rare blend of economic insight, journalistic rigour, and down-to-earth humour. From decoding financial jargon to championing small businesses, she’s a straight-talking expert who knows where the money goes – and how real businesses grow.
Set to take place on Thursday 13th November at Beau Sejour, the 2025 Gala Dinner promises an evening of sharp insight, great company, and meaningful conversation.
Alice Gill, Executive Director at Chamber of Commerce, said: “We’re pleased to welcome Steph McGovern to share her expertise and insights. Her keynote will unpack what’s really going on in the economy – and what it means for Guernsey’s businesses.
