The Durrell Challenge
Sign up for the Durrell Challenge 2023 and run wild to save species from extinction!
Whether you take it slow and steady like a tortoise or sprint round like a hare, there’s something for everyone at this year’s Durrell Challenge. Choose to take part in the 13k live race, starting at Victoria Park and finishing at Jersey Zoo, or the 13k virtual race for those outside of Jersey. We also have a new family-friendly 2.6k course, which will start and finish at Jersey Zoo. Registration is open to all runners aged 16+ for the 13k race, and 8+ for the family race.

Fundraising
All funds raised will go towards Durrell’s work saving some of the rarest wildlife on the planet. Conservation Hero fundraisers are encouraged to raise over £300 to receive a host of extra Durrell goodies included in their package.
After the race
13k runners will receive an exclusive finisher medal, refreshments at the finish line, and free entry to the Really Wild Day at Jersey Zoo.
2.6k race runners receive an exclusive finisher medal, refreshments at the finish line, and free entry to the Really Wild Day at Jersey Zoo.
New for this year, to replace t-shirts, we will be planting a tree for every runner at our rewilding site in Brazil’s Atlantic Forest. This will be included in each runner’s race fee.
