The Big Skipton Sleep Out
Skipton International and Caritas Guernsey are once again calling on islanders to swap their beds for sleeping bags and spend a night under the stars as The Big Skipton Sleep Out returns for its second year on Friday 20 March 2026, at the King George V (KGV) Playing Fields.
After an extraordinary first year, when more than 300 people slept outside for one night and raised more than £40,000 for Caritas’ modular housing initiative, this year’s event will build on that momentum. It aims to highlight the scale of housing insecurity in Guernsey and raise vital funds for those without a permanent place to call home.
The overnight challenge takes place on Friday 20 March 2026 at the King George V (KGV) Playing Fields from 7pm to 6:30am, with participants sleeping outside with only basic shelter in a shared act of empathy and awareness.
