Tax briefing
EY will be joined by the States of Guernsey Revenue Service to help the local business community navigate the ever-changing tax landscape at an upcoming Tax briefing.
The lunchtime briefing, which is taking place from 12pm – 2pm on Thursday, 22 May at the Duke of Richmond Hotel, will shed light on the latest changes in corporate tax matters and discuss the practical implications for businesses in Guernsey, including an update on Pillar Two and FATCA and CRS compliance. The event will be of particular relevance to service providers involved in the administration of entities in Guernsey.
EY Tax Partner and Head of Tax in Guernsey, David White (pictured), will lead the briefing, alongside EY’s Tax Director Cristian Anton, a specialist in FATCA and CRS. They will be joined by Nig Garland, Head of Policy (Deputy Director) at the States of Guernsey Revenue Service, along with Alexis Morgan and Steve Chandler from the Revenue Service AEOI team. FATCA and CRS compliance reviews are expected to be more in depth going forwards – Nig and his team will provide an update on the Revenue Service’s expectations and approach to compliance activity following Guernsey’s recent CRS regime OECD peer review.
The briefing will provide a practical update, with delegates having the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers at the end of the session. A light lunch will be provided.
