Summer Holiday Art Club – Week 1
Children are invited to get creative this summer as The Harbour Gallery Jersey and Art in the Frame Foundation launch the first week of their Summer Holiday Art Club.
Running from Monday 20th to Friday 24th July, the workshops offer a wide range of hands-on activities for children aged 6 to 13, with morning and afternoon sessions taking place each day.
Week one includes T-shirt printing, comic book creation, pebble painting, leaf printing, shell decorating, seaweed canvas art, island building and painting on mugs, plates and vinyl records. Sessions are led by local artists and creatives including Jo Alm/Bastiman, Pat Robson, Jamie Willow, Helen and Setara, Corey Ceccarelli and Will Bertram.
Each session costs £20, including all materials, and every child attending the Summer Holiday Club will receive a free pack of drawing pencils and a sketchbook. Selected sessions for St Helier Primary School pupils are available at a subsidised cost of £10, thanks to sponsorship from the Bosdet Foundation.
Morning sessions run from 10am to 12pm, with afternoon sessions from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
