Repair Café – St Brelade

Bring along something to repair or just find out what this free community event is all about, have a cuppa and enjoy the live music including The Jersey Ukulele Club and Jason Wyatt (guitar) performing on stage.

A series of pop-up sessions where volunteer fixers help Islanders to repair any household items they bring along (for free!) in a friendly café environment with refreshments and music.

Items can include clothing and fabrics, bicycles and e-bikes, toys and gadgets, computers and tech, ornaments and sometimes small items of furniture.  Electrical appliances can be tested and often repaired too; if you can carry it, we’ll see if we can fix it.

It’s a Parish initiative with aims including doing our bit for the environment by repairing and saving things from ‘the dump’ but also helping people see how it’s possible to repair rather than ‘recycle’ or replace, all in a friendly and social environment.
