The event begins at 12.30pm with registration and a buffet lunch. The CPD presentations will start at 1.15pm and the event will close at approximately 2.30pm. The event is complimentary for all PFS members.

‘The importance of ‘Use of Self’ as an instrument in consulting’

Dave is founder of Odyssea, a Jersey-based organisation and leadership development consultancy. With over 20 years’ experience across Utilities, Professional Services and Financial organisations, Dave offers executive coaching, organisational culture change consultancy and leadership development facilitation. His practice takes a values-driven approach, seeking to understand from clients (individual and organisational) what key values and motivations drive performance and how these can be used to best effect.

Dave’s presentation to PFS will focus on the consultant’s use of self as instrument – exploring how, as consultants, we have a responsibility to maintain our own development, knowledge, mental health and overall wellbeing.

Daniel Casali – Chief Investment Strategist, from Evelyn Partners

‘Cue Market volatility amid China-US tensions’

Daniel is the Chief Investment Strategist for Evelyn Partners and can provide insight on topics covering the outlook of the global economy and financial markets, central bank decisions, politics & geopolitics, as well as long term megatrends. Daniel is a seasoned professional, a Chartered Financial Analyst, with over 30 years’ experience and has appeared in the media, including CNBC, Bloomberg and in the press.

Daniel’s presentation to PFS will focus on how investors have encountered significant volatility in financial markets over the past month. The outlook depends heavily on U.S. President Donald Trump’s next moves in a high-stakes geopolitical negotiation with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Will tariff discussions reduce tensions, or will trade wars intensify? This presentation explores the known and unknown implications of these tariffs. Despite the uncertainty surrounding U.S. policy, it aims to highlight both opportunities and risks for asset allocators to consider.
