Our water. Our future. Our responsibility.
After experiencing one of the driest springs on record and as the dry weather continues this summer, Jersey – like the UK and much of Europe – is already feeling the effects of climate change, prompting important questions about the long-term security of our Island’s water supply.
At a time when many water companies around the world are grappling with massive infrastructure investment requirements and responding to challenging water quality risks, such as PFAS, we want to bring our members up to speed on what action Jersey Water is taking to secure our water for our future.
For the first time speaking at a Chamber of Commerce event, we are delighted to welcome Helier Smith, Chief Executive of Jersey Water, as the guest speaker at our October lunch.
In this informative session, Helier will outline Jersey Water’s ambitious five-year strategy, which takes us to 2030 and beyond, focusing on:
- Ensuring safe, reliable water for customers
- Planning for the Island’s future water needs
- Investing in and funding essential supply infrastructure.
Don’t miss this insightful discussion about managing our Island’s water resources, responding to drought and water quality risks, and balancing the need to make critical investments with keeping bills fair for customers.
Secure your place today and learn all about Jersey’s unique water challenges and vulnerabilities, and what we can all do to protect our water supply today and every day.
