‘Ocean with David Attenborough’ screening, and a Q&A panel

Guernsey Nature Commission, La Société Guernesiaise and Blue Marine Foundation are teaming up for an exclusive screening of ‘Ocean with David Attenborough’ this November.

Nominated for six primetime Emmy awards this year, ‘Ocean with David Attenborough’ takes the viewer down into the Earth’s marine habitats, showcasing incredible new scientific discoveries and emphasising the importance of our oceans.

The film also speaks on the threats facing marine ecosystems across the world and highlights the opportunities for our marine life to recover.

The screening will be showing at Beau Sejour on 1 st November at 2pm. Afterwards there will be a Q&A with one of the producers and directors of the film, Toby Nolan.

During the Q&A, there will also be a slideshow of the amazing and beautiful marine life in Guernsey taken by local photographer Tim Harvey, featured photographer at last year’s Bailiwick Wildlife Photography Exhibition.
