Mentally healthy leadership during a cost of living rise
The Leadership Jersey team are looking forward to seeing old and new faces at our first event of 2023.
Our roles as leaders are never more important than during periods of uncertainty. With the dust barely settled on the Pandemic, we find ourselves entering 2023 with the highest rate of inflation for thirty years. Simultaneously there has never been more of a spotlight on mental health in the workplace. As leaders we are expected to protect the wellbeing of our employees while navigating our organisations through this economic downturn. And we need to do this while staying mentally well ourselves.
Jersey Recovery College will explore what mentally healthy leadership means through the cost of living rise.
Beth Moore is the CEO of Jersey Recovery College (JRC), a local mental health charity that provides mental health education to those experiencing mental health difficulties and the people who support them. Prior to setting up JRC Beth was a trustee for Mind Jersey and an Ambassador for the charity, sharing her story of mental illness to challenge stigma.
Beth was named Inspirational Leader of the Year at 2018’s Pride of Jersey Awards, was named on the Independent’s Happy List 2019 and was shortlisted as Director of Year – Third Sector at the IoD awards in 2022.
There will be time before the event starts for networking; your first drink is included.
