‘Lived experience’ – the insights and unique knowledge gained from going through something – is the focus of our annual seminars.
After a networking buffet lunch, Paula Harriott, Head of Prisoner Engagement at the Prison Reform Trust will be our keynote speaker. Paula will be sharing her personal experience and talking about her work engaging with lived experience at the Prisoners Reform Trust.
As well as a panel session, our interactive workshop will focus on how to put the principles into practice when engaging with lived experience with lots of tips you can take back to your own charity.
The annual seminar will open for registration at 12:30 with a buffet lunch and networking. The programme will start at 13.15 and includes:
- 13.25-14.10 Keynote Speech: Paula Harriott, Head of Prisoner Engagement, Prison Reform Trust
- 14.10-14.40 Panel Session: Local Representatives talking about their experience of engaging with lived experience.
- 14.50-16.05 Interactive Workshop: facilitated session focused on putting the principles into practice when engaging with lived experience including hint and tips which you can take back to your own charity.
- Closing at 16.30.
