Leading mystery author to visit Alderney
Best-selling author of The Woman in Cabin 10, Ruth Ware, is to visit Alderney on Saturday November 8th for a packed day of literary events.
The visit, organised by the Alderney Literary Trust, follows the airing of a Netflix feature film of the Sunday Times and New York Times hit on October 10, starring Kiera Knightley.
The world-famous author will be in Alderney to talk about her new book, The Woman in Suite 11, the sequel to Cabin 10 which will also be getting the Netflix treatment next year.
She will take part in three events – a round-table Book Club discussion in the morning, followed by ‘Ruth Ware in Conversation’ at the Georgian House in the afternoon, and a ‘Caribbean Cruise Murder Mystery’ dinner at the Blonde Hedgehog in the evening.
Ruth Ware’s novels have sold more than ten million copies worldwide and are published in more than 40 languages.
“We’re honoured to welcome such a prestigious British author to our island and we look forward to an exhilarating day in Ruth’s company,” said Alderney Literary Trust founder Isabel Picornell.
