Jersey Old Motor Club’s 52nd Boxing day run
The Jersey Old Motor Club will be holding the 52nd Boxing Day Run on 26th December. This is the flagship event in the Club’s calendar, and will see a colourful display of nearly 100 cars, all registered prior to 1951, at the Esplanade.
His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor Sir Stephen Dalton will raise the Club’s flag for departure at 10.00 a.m.
The cavalcade will then proceed around the island, and spectators can view this spectacular display of historic cars, many of them festively decorated as they pass the Island’s Parish Churches at the following times:
|Churches||First Car||Last Car|
The Club held its first Boxing Day Run in 1968, and has been held annually since then, with the sole exception being last year’s Boxing Day which was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Having been unable to hold this event last year, members of the Club are determined to make this Boxing Day Run even more colourful than prior years.
