Jersey Architecture Week

The Association of Jersey Architects will explore what gives the Island its distinctive character during Architecture Week 2026, taking place from Saturday 26 September to Sunday 4 October.

This year’s theme, SENSE. OF. PLACE., will consider how Jersey’s buildings, landscapes, streets and everyday spaces shape the way people experience the Island.

The programme will include talks from Gabriella Bennett, Stuart Fell and David Gausden, alongside a hot topic debate, networking events, a building tour, lunchtime talks, a Sip & Sketch session and a children’s workshop.

Events begin on Saturday 26 September with Gabriella Bennett’s How to Build a City, followed by the opening of the Architecture Week Open Exhibition at ArtHouse Jersey at Capital House on Wednesday 30 September.

The exhibition will bring together architectural models, drawings, sketches, photography, mixed-media work and collage exploring the idea of place in Jersey. All eligible entries will also be considered for the Architecture Week 2026 prizes and commendations.

The programme continues with a networking breakfast and lunch on Thursday 1 October, a building tour, lunchtime talk and awards party on Friday 2 October, a lunchtime talk and Sip & Sketch on Saturday 3 October, and a children’s workshop on Sunday 4 October.
