Island Development Plan review
Islanders will have an opportunity to put questions about the Island Development Plan (IDP) Review to a panel of political members and officers in a live online Q&A.
This follows publication of the Development & Planning Authority’s (DPA) proposed changes to the IDP as part of its focused review.
The panel will be comprised of Deputy Victoria Oliver, President of the Development & Planning Authority, and two other members of the Authority: Deputy John Dyke and Deputy Sasha Kazantseva-Miller. Simone Whyte, Principal Forward Planning Officer and Alun White, Principal Conservation and Design Officer will also be on the panel.
The live Q&A will be broadcast on the States of Guernsey Facebook page and at gov.gg/IDPReview, beginning at 7pm on Thursday 18th July. Islanders will be able to submit questions live using the Facebook comments or by emailing [email protected] during the broadcast. Questions can also be sent to this email address ahead of the event.
Any question relating to the IDP Review is welcome. The questions will be moderated to avoid repetition.
Islanders can find out more details about the DPA’s proposed amendments here where they can share their views on the changes to help shape the final changes to the IDP.
