Introduction to French Land Law and a comparison with Land Law in Guernsey
Presented by Véronique Legrand, Maître de conférences en Droit Privé from the University of Caen.
Véronique is well known to many Guernsey advocates, having taught the Obligations (French contract law) element of the Certificat d’Études Juridiques Françaises et Normandes (CEJFN) for a number of years. In addition to her role on the CEJFN, Véronique holds a doctorate in Private International Law and is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Caen.
The lecture is aimed at property and land law professionals, and participants will receive a comprehensive study guide prepared by Véronique, setting out the principles discussed. The guide will undoubtedly prove to be an invaluable resource for anyone practising locally or advising on French or Guernsey land law.
